Michael G. Barrett is the Chief Creative Officer for Blue Lynx Marketing. After graduating from with a degree in Film and Video Production his first professional job was as a full-time position at the Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida, where he was responsible for the start-up of the church’s television ministry. This $700,000 project reached international status under his leadership.

Michael left Family Worship Center after three years to start what is now Barrett Creative, a video production and design firm. Since 2001, Barrett Creative has worked on many capital campaigns at local, national, and international levels, helping to raise more than $10 million dollars.

Barrett Creative worked for eight years with Lakeland-based First Baptist Church at the Mall, where the company produced First Baptist’s local and national television ministry. Barrett Creative has produced promotional and fundraising materials for other local organizations including The Florida Baptist Children’s Home, Lighthouse Ministries, Idols Aside Ministries, Alliance for Independence and the Watson Clinic Foundation. Barrett also has produced documentaries for children’s homes and ministries in Honduras, Cambodia, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic as well as helped co-found the Trash Mountain Project.

In 2005, Southeastern University became a Barrett Creative client when the university needed to produce a new promotional DVD for the institution’s change from college to university status. For it’s 5 year run, Barrett Creative has produced multiple videos and created graphics for The National Leadership Forum, and provided a total re-design of the conference website as well as producing the live event.

In 2011, Barrett Creative was instrumental in launching the World LEADERS Group by creating interactive websites, video campaigns and producing their annual World LEADERS Conference with notable speakers which include former Prime Minister Tony Blair, Tony Dungy, Ken Blanchard, Patrick Lencioni, Craig Groeschel and Erwin McManus. Barrett Creative also produced and created the World LEADERS Global Webcast, which gave away the World LEADERS Conference to thousands of people in more than 100 countries with a simulated live video presentation of the 2012 conference.

Michael’s passion is to tell stories through short film. In 2008, Michael produced his first short film, The Pizza Connection, which was endorsed by Patrick Lencioni, author and president of The Table Group. He continues to work on other short film projects.
